catching up with dad and walking down to the stand of eucalyptus we planted when Bjarni and i were kids, around 1985 i suppose. 30 years later and those trees have grown into a forest. i remember buying the trees with dad, loading them onto the ute, planting them, and hand watering for months afterwards. We bucketed water from a waterhole. Dad’s always loved trees. he walks around the land looking at them all, checking in. he probably speaks with them :). every time i visit we do the tree tour.
